My name Is Kayla Carr and I am thrilled to be providing Medical aesthetics treatments in St.Thomas. Born and raised in Winnipeg I moved to St.Thomas in 2008 with my husband. I absolutely LOVE living here in our beautiful little city (the weather is a bonus). 

I come from a long line of nurses, but I decided early on that I wanted to be different, so I became a Paramedic. Many of my days were spent waiting for calls in the emergency department where it quickly became apparent to everyone that I was indeed a nurse at my core. I returned to the University of Manitoba where I earned my Bachelor of Nursing, with honours. I returned to the ER upon graduation.

Once in Ontario I worked at Victoria Hospital until 2012 when I took a leave of absence to pursue owning a hot yoga studio. We operated Tru hot yoga for 5 years. In 2017 the time was right to expand our offerings and moved to Tru’s current home on Talbot St. 

My passion has always been helping people feel better both physically and emotionally. My love of all things medical and aesthetic made injecting a perfect fit. I completed my training as an injector in 2019 at APT school in Oakville which is a highly sought-after training facility. I am continually adding courses and skills to my resume. Recently completing an advanced Filler course at APT.

In 2021 amidst the pandemic, I completed my Endy Med Radio Frequency Training and purchased the equipment to take my medical aesthetics practice to the next level.  I can assist people to feel better about their appearance and improve their confidence. This is truly the most rewarding part of my professional career. When I see clients thrilled with their results, there is nothing better. 

My desire is to help you regain what you may have lost or maybe what you have always wanted. I can address skin tone and texture concerns, with state-of-the-art skin tightening on the face and body and body contouring. We all have our insecurities but I want to give you the power to overcome them and allow the best of you to shine through. 

By combining different treatment modalities, I am confident that I can help you love your look,while at the same time keeping You looking like YOU! No duck lips or crazy transformations allowed. Our journey will be a discussion of realistic goals and a long-term plan to get you there. (The goal being that no one will know what you did) I lean to a conservative approach, so that it will be a barely noticeable change to others but start to finish you will be thrilled with your results.
